Cyntoia and Groveland Four all Overturned by “GOP” Gov’s yet Obama Refused to Pardon Marcus Garvey…
In only a few days into 2019 two republican governors have granted clemency to Cyntoia Brown and pardoned the Groveland Four. Yet Obama, the first ‘black’ president, refused twice to posthumously pardon Marcus Garvey. Obama would never pardon a black man like Garvey because he fought for black liberation, something Obama nor his Jewish & white handlers will ever allow. Garvey’s views would also run counter in today’s faux intersectional philosophies of white liberals and the black sycophants who follow them.
Marcus Garvey
Garvey authored the “Declaration of Rights of the Negro Peoples of the World,” which was ratified at the convention of the Universal Negro Improvement Association at Madison Square Garden in 1920. It was during this meeting that Garvey was also elected “Provisional President” of Africa.
In many of his lectures, Garvey summarized his views on the rights of African Americans by noting,
“The first dying that is to be done by the black man in the future will be done to make himself free. And then when we are finished, if we have any charity to bestow, we may die for the white man. But as for me, I think I have stopped dying for him.”~Marcus Garvey
In one of his final acts in office, President Obama issued hundreds of commutations and pardons. But he declined to act on a petition for a posthumous pardon of Marcus Garvey, the legendary black nationalist movement leader who was convicted in 1923 on what his family called “politically motivated and bogus” charges of mail fraud.
“We are disappointed the president decided it was not something he wanted to do,” said one of Garvey’s sons, Julius Garvey, 83, a vascular surgeon who lives in New York.
Julius Garvey, who argued that his father was targeted by then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s “obsession to neutralize the rise of a black liberator,” said the White House did not give a reason for its refusal to grant the pardon. The Obama administration also rejected a posthumous pardon in 2011.
Groveland Park Four
In 2017, the Florida Legislature unanimously passed a bill asking former Gov. Rick Scott to go ahead and pardon them. He refused and never answered questions as to why.
“Rick Scott didn’t have the guts,” Wade Greenlee said. “He could have done this with a stroke of a pen years ago. Gov. DeSantis didn’t waste any time.”
DeSantis, who spoke about the vote at a press conference before the Cabinet meeting, called the entire situation a “perversion of justice.”
Imagine that Ron DeSantis, the same white man that was painted as a racist during his campaign against Gillum…
Cyntoia Brown
The governor said Cyntoia Brown has served her time and is ready to be back in the world. Haslam said she made a big mistake, but the strides she made to bring her life around can’t be ignored.
“She made a horrible decision, but if you look at since, then she’s literally lived a life that’s been about rehabilitation and redemption,” Haslam said. “She’s about to graduate with a 4.0. I told her attorneys that’s a little better than my GPA in college.”
Let’s see if Harvard and the good white liberals will offer her a free ride to grad school…since they’re giving access to activists like David Hogg with pour SAT scores.
In closing as black people we have got to wake up from this Rip Van Winkle type slumber of allowing liberals to control our every thought and VOTE. Neither party cares about us but we definitely need to stop allowing emotions to control our willingness to see the game that’s being played to control us. I’m numb to the word ‘racist’ because I know it’s now become a cattle call for liberals to round up their black herd, to ensure that they don’t stray from the plantation. There is no excuse for Obama’s unwillingness to pardon Garvey, anymore than there also not being an excuse for his unwillingness to do anything that was specifically for black people.
