Elijah Cummings in Tears Defending #ImmigrantChildren But NOTHING for Poor Black Children In Baltimore…
Elijah Cummings doing his usual outburst for democratic establishment while poor black children in Baltimore suffer daily…are we not better than this? This man needs to be ran out of office, I can’t believe he is allowed to play these games while the people of Baltimore are living in daily fear of the police, poor kids sit freezing in public schools and poverty is out of control.
As Elijah Cummings grand stands on the house floor protecting Mother Clinton and lamenting his disgust for immigrant children, all while a report in 2015 stated that more children are living in poverty in Maryland than they did during the depth of the great depression. Let that sink in…and I ask Cummings again, are we not much better than this? Why is this man not being dragged for his bullshit games to maintain power and control for the system?
Instead of Cummings fighting for more community programs to help the youth in his state (who we know will be predominately black) and the pipeline that’s been created to entrap them, he allowed this $35 million dollar prison to be built. That along with his tearful antics today are shameful, as his community lives in abject poverty; it’s past time for Black people to call him out for this disgrace and insult.
