EVERYTHING you stated is 1000% true…it’s both sickening and embarrassing. I saw TI being questioned on TMZ abt KK meeting Trump and his ignorant a$$ said it was a good thing b/c someone needed to, if everyone said no then we would def get nothing…then he went on to say that Meek didn’t need to go b/c he was a black leader who would be tarnished and KK is expendable…I wanted to throw a brick at my TV, so per TI, it’s good to send KK who is not black and has no real depth or concept of understanding when it comes to mass incarceration but someone like Meek who just made a spectacle of his release and is still fighting his conviction, should not have gone???? I’m so sick of these ppl, what he said made no logical sense and as you stated no matter Trump’s motives, if black ppl can get a win from him no matter how big or small then we are fools not to take it…meanwhile, poor blacks in AL are suffering with hookworm, a third world disease that was eradicated in the 50's…while their Ivy league new comer, US Rep Terri Sewell , wears $5K suits every day and just signed a bill to help republicans roll back banking laws. I’m so over black people and our willingness to shed the mental shackles and control that celebrities, black politicians, democrats and as you also stated, our own people continue to use to sell us out.
