If y’all have a few minutes, you might want to watch Jimmy Dore’s episode on this. The clips he uses show just how Nathan Phillips’ story changed over time—I’m rather surprised Dore didn’t seem to notice it. The story literally turned 180 degrees from “they were respectful” to “they were rude and racist.” The real degree of Phillips’ veteran status also somehow managed to get buried, as usual.
Since you watched the whole video, I know you noticed that barely 10% of the group had on MAGA hats.
