Lol Stacey could care less about criminal justice reform, or any legislation that’s largely about and for Black people. Her using that was merely for personal reasons at the time and nothing more. It was largely due to her sister who is a US Federal Judge (Obama appointee), who fell in love and married a man who had spent decades in prison. Ask her now about prison reform and watch her squirm, because the people who “own” her did not give her this unwarranted celebrity for her to do anything that wasn’t for and about neoliberals and their agendas.
Stacey ran away from all things centered around black people as a state legislator and her platform for governor did not have one thing that was specific to black people. Stacey not only worked with the republican Governor to destroy opportunities for poor black kids to get scholarships for college, she refused to support any of the black legislators agendas if it gave the appearance of being too black. Stacey refused any invitations from black led groups and many times from the local D.A.’s office when they were pushing for juvenile justice reform. She also refused to push for minimum wage increase when it came up for vote.
This all out liberal media blitz and Hollywood white washing off Stacey is insulting, she seems to have also bought into her own carefully crafted Hollywood image, as she allowed WaPo to make a complete fool out of her with that horrible picture and runway model description in their recent fairytale article about her.
As every political figure across the country chimed in with disbelief and shock of Aubrey’s Murder in Brunswick, Stacey had to be forced to even give a lame comment. Lastly, Stacey did not get cheated out of an election, she lost…she also knew that she would lose a run for one of the two GA US Senate seats that are currently open, and another loss would destroy the scam that she’s been running for the past several years and ruin her political aspirations for good. She also refused to acknowledge a black woman who’s more qualified than any of the white democrats who are running for US Senate, because she knew a black woman winning a US Senate seat from Ga would also destroy her limelight and aspirations. Stacey would not even include her in debates that she hosted. The word was told, that Stacey is the new gatekeeper out of GA and the air-apparent to who gets supported or not…per the party leadership.
Stacey is a fraud and her political agenda as Georgia State Rep., was anti all things black. This is a fact that can not be disputed and no amount of glowing articles and praise of her will change that…
