Ms. Moon, I honestly believe that we as black people have one of two choices when it comes to voting (especially in 2020). We either don’t vote for the presidential ticket, or we vote against dems period. I challenge you to go back and look at every democrat candidate in 2018 both black and white and what you won’t find is an agenda specifically for black people but you will find them all in unison for DACA, ending ICE and protecting Israel. It should be beyond insulting for black people to watch the dem party talk about ending ICE when black people can’t even walk the streets freely without being harassed or killed by the police…yet there has been no outcry to overhaul the systemic policing system that we have. “EVERY” predominantly black city across this country is being gentrified and all black faces being erased or pushed out…newsflash, right republicans are NOT moving into black communities, it is white liberals who claim to be our friends who are coming in and forcing black people out.
Here are two things I would like for you to read, one is a study that talks about the lack of wealth for AA’s, we currently fall last behind every group including Hispanics. The other is an entire twitter thread on why black people should be opposing Joe Biden.
The current corporate owned democrat party as we know it today needs to crash and burn, if that’s the party that AAs’s feel they are forced to align with. They will never support the needs of AA’s as long as they know that we will “Vote Blue No Matter Who”…that entire slogan is beyond insulting. It clearly means that no matter what fraud, racist or corrupt person they put up to run; we are suppose to bow down and vote for them. I refuse to be a slave to anyone…people love lamenting about how our ancestors would feel about our not voting, I know for damn sure that my ancestors are rolling over in their graves because we have allowed our votes to literally mean nothing.
