Ron, thank you so much for reading my article but more importantly for sharing your story. I also am humbled by your response and had not thought that my article in any way was somehow taking away the very important power that we as women are now pushing as it relates to sexual assault. I totally agree with all that you’ve said and I sincerely hope that others will not take my article as a way of demeaning or erasing the power that women now have in calling out the oppression and sexual assault we have had to endure at the hands of men for centuries…my point was merely about sexual assault yielded by people in power and how it affects both…
