The Bold Face of The Democratic Party’s Hypocrisy & Racism
I don’t think I’ve ever in my long political history heard the word ‘racist’ used so often until this past presidential election. The word has gotten so politicized and used for partisan posturing & gain, until I cringe each time I hear or see it used. The Democratic Party has become the puppet master of identity politics and racial strife. They’ve mastered harnessing the pain and anger of their captured black audiences. After all, only a republican can be guilty of being a racist.
The media, in its clear complicity, know all too well the triggering this one small word invokes and has joined in the fray to ensure that we’re all angry and ready to attack whomever is said to be guilty. This anger is a potent nectar, that keeps us riled and ready to fight. This anger also keeps us blinded from the oppressive and racist agenda of the Democratic Party. The latest target of our ire and scorn is US Senator Jeff Sessions, the former AG of Alabama who’s now vying for the nation’s top cop.
This week’s hearings on Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General could not be more glaring and insulting. Senator Cory Booker and Rep John Lewis both chose to challenge Sessions record on civil rights (Booker’s challenge was unprecedented for a sitting US Senator). Booker in what appeared to be a trial run for president in 2020, was adamant in his belief that Sessions didn’t care about Civil Rights. Booker along with Lewis even added some gas to their already stirred fiery pot of identity/racist voodoo politics, by inviting a man who was one of the beaten on Bloody Sunday on the Edmond Pettis Bridge in Selma, AL, to sit in on their publicity stunt. The issue with all of this is that Booker praised Sessions in 2016 for helping him sponsor the Congressional Gold Medal “Foot Soldiers Award”, an award that paid tribute to the heroes of Bloody Sunday…”I Feel Blessed and Honored to Work With Senator Senator Sessions~Sen. Cory Booker: https://youtu.be/chkAASced_0
“It doesn’t matter how Senator Sessions may smile, how friendly he may be, how he may speak to you. We need someone who is going to stand up, to speak up, and speak out for the people that need help. For people who have been discriminated against. and it doesn’t matter if they’re black, white, Latino, Asian American, or Native American. Whether they are straight or gay, Muslim, Christian, or Jews. We all live in the same house, the American house. We need someone as attorney general who is going to look out for all of us, not just some of us”.~John Lewis
John Lewis seems to suffer from the same amnesia he suffered almost a year ago when he lied about Bernie Sanders’ role in Civil Rights in the 60's to help Hillary Clinton’s primary bid; as he’s having now because the above photo was taken on the Edmond Pettis Bridge on the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday. Sessions attended that day, one of only 14 Republicans who did. Also, noticeably absent that day were both of the Clintons who chose to attend a personal event in Florida instead.
I don’t know Senator Sessions’ heart but I do know how the KKK preyed on African Americans and the terror they reigned for decades. I do know that it’s clear that Lewis and Booker will say anyting to further their personal agendas and tow the line for the Democratic Party establishment. Booker and Lewis, like the rest of the Democratic Party establishment have been upended by Hillary Clinton’s loss along with losing over 900 state house and congressional seats since Obama took office. Booker clearly hadn’t planned on having to testify against Sessions for AG, because the democrats had already planned the coronation of their Queen.
I remember how former KKK Grand Dragon, Senator Robert Byrd was easily forgiven for his role in utterly terrozing of Black people. It’s sad that with any mention of Robert Byrd, you’re quickly met with, ‘he apologized’ and that the NAACP forgave him. I don’t know about anyone else but the NAACP hasn’t spoken for me in decades. As African Americans we are always told to forgive our oppressors after they’ve either been caught, or it’s politically expedient. Whether it’s slavery, Jim Crow, Mass Incarceration, Murder, Super Predator or the overall neglect of African American communities, we’re always expected to forgive and forget (The Jews have never forgotten & was never expected to). Hillary Clinton gave great praise to Robert Byrd, calling him a “true American original, friend and mentor”, a man she says surpassed eloquence and nobility (think about those words). Can you imagine the outrage from the left if a Republican appointed Secretary of State called a former KKK, a “True American Original?” Or the calls from democrats and black leaders around the country to denounce their words? We already know how that sounds, we’ve heard it every day ad nauseam during the election and even more loudly since Trump won the presidency.

The white-washing of the legacy of a man that was the Grand Dragon of the KKK by democrats is the height of hypocrisy and white supremacy.
We’ve allowed democrats to enslave us with our emotions, while profiting from our oppression and in many cases, demise. The CBC is awash with politicians who’ve profited from black oppression, selling their constituents to the highest bidders. Politicians who share our skin but not a care for our salvation. John Lewis is getting a warship named after him, can you imagine the amount of selling out that occurred for this to happen? Can you imagine the souls and bodies of black and brown people around the world that that warship salutes or intimidates? Can you imagine what MLK would say, a supposed man of peace having his name used in this manner? What price was paid, was it turning his back on police brutality, Baltimore, Flint, Chicago, Atlanta? Or was it lying about a white man who once was chained to a black woman because he dared stand with African Americans in Chicago, in their fight for fair housing? Whatever the price, the only benefactor was Lewis.
The democrats know that they only need to attack any opponent they have with the word, racist and African Americans will immediately run to their defense. Sadly, we are enslaved by our own misplaced anger. I long for the day that we realize the games that are being played & that we are Kings & Queens and not Pawns for the Democratic Party…
