Where Was Elijah Cummings & Liberal Outrage When Obama called Baltimore Kids “Thugs”?
It’s amazing watching the corporate owned media and liberal lackies pretend outrage over Trump’s characterization of poor Black communities in Baltimore; when none of them said a word when Obama called them “thugs”.
Obama didn’t just call poor black youth in Baltimore thugs; he wasn’t done with his insults, he doubled down and refused to apologize because he was not going to upset his white liberal “owners” by retracting his own racist words. Every African American knows that the word thug is another name for nigger…a word that Obama stated in his book that his racist white grandmother used often when describing black people. African America refuses to accept that Obama was not raised to respect black people, nor was he raised in an environment that reflects the identity politics that democrats so boldly uses to control their constituents.
We can all argue the systemic cause of Baltimore’s plight/blight but no one with good conscience or honesty can say that Elijah Cummings and the Democrat Party aren’t the soul catalyst for what currently ails that community. Cummings has been loud and vocal about the plight of poor immigrant children in cages, last year he was able to muster up fake tears while protesting for them. However, Cummings hasn’t had those same tears when it comes to the poor black children within his own district…not one tear shed when poor inner city kids sat in freezing classrooms last year with no heat during subzero temperature…not one protest or outrage from white liberals on how un-American it was or how our children deserve better.
I wrote a blog last year on the theatrics of Cummings and the poverty that exists in Baltimore. It is beyond pathetic watching black people defend Cummings simply because they hate Trump. No amount of Trump rhetoric can cleanse Elijah Cummings or the Democratic Party from their roll in the conditions that plague poor blacks in Baltimore and across the USA. Every word that Ajamu Baraka has tweeted below is exactly what I’ve said and felt during this entire pathetic liberal con game.
The sad thing about all of this is that Elijah Cummings and his owners/white liberals, had no problem pedaling useless symbolism. They rallied behind the removal of confederate statues but haven’t done a damn thing of substance for their constituents to change their horrible conditions. They can remove statues but can’t remove abandoned buildings and piles of toxic trash.
The blatant hypocrisy of the Democrat Party knows no bounds, it’s maddening watching my people continue to be lead to slaughter while they advocate for every group but African Americans. Doesn’t the poor black children of Baltimore deserve the same fight and compassion that immigrant children who are not citizens are being afforded by the faux outrage of Elijah Cummings and the Democrat Party? African Americans have got to stop allowing democrats to use racism as a tool for their emotional control. Elijah Cummings nor the Democrat Party deserves no defense for the epic failure and neglect of Baltimore and every urban city across the USA. Instead of allowing these con artists a pass because of Trump, you should be using this as a prime opportunity to force their hands and demand better. The 2020 presidential election is around the corner and not one of the establishment democrats, nor the Congressional Black Caucus have even included an agenda that was specifically for African Americans. But instead they have all been eager to push and pass laws that are specific to the uplift and support of illegal immigrants.
