Why Is AOC the Socialist, “Social Climbing” with Celebrities like ‘Resistance’ Queen Chrissy Teigen?

The unbelievable rise of Socialist and media darling, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been interesting to watch; if not insulting on so many levels to the many female activists/politicians who have actually put in the work. It was not enough that her supposedly poor bartender working girl shoes were put up for auction, but it was also revealed this week that a campaign documentary (along with three other women, who have gotten no attention) about her epic win (historically low turnout & an incumbent who did not campaign), is now being bought by Netflix for a mere $10M.

Her ascension reminds me of the same sensationalism and over the top cult-like media coverage that gave Cory Booker the same unprecedented and unwarranted meteoric rise. It’s also the same free media coverage that elevated the now, President Trump.

Booker was the author of using social media and silly antics to his advantage. He knew how to galvanize/mesmerize the younger voters with silly optics and heroic stunts; carefully crafted and played out via his social media pages for all to see and hear. Booker was the author of empty rhetoric and choreographed and well thought out spin. Spin that have all been largely exposed to be nothing more than lies and/or carefully crafted political stunts. The same political antics, empty rhetoric and media adulation that we now see with AOC. It’s all cute that she has her twitter team behind the scenes replying for her with snappy come backs and every now and then some actual facts. However, AOC can’t articulate any plan or historical facts on her own (without the behind the scenes twitter team & consultants) while being questioned by a journalist.

In 2o16 Politico Magazine wrote an article about Cory Booker titled: “Cory Booker’s Newark Mirage”

“He did come and bring me Pampers,” Byers told me recently on Highland Avenue. Back in 2010, her brother had tweeted at Booker three days after a massive snowstorm that Byers could not get out and was running out of diapers. Booker, as he was fond of saying on his Twitter feed, was “on it.”

Byers laughed at the memory and thinks everyone missed the point: Booker, she said, focused on the individual heroics because the larger task of managing city services eluded him.

“The only reason he brought me Pampers was that it had been three days and our street hadn’t been plowed,” she said. “I have five kids and, trust me, I don’t just run out of Pampers. All we wanted was for him to plow our streets. It’s about knowing how to manage a city.”~Politico Magazine

AOC’s antics aren’t new, they’re not even as clever as she and her team of young social media consultants think. However, the difference between AOC and Booker, is that Booker actually had the intellect behind his antics to make up for any shortcomings he may have been missing as an elected official. Booker was also already wealthy and completely comfortable with celebrity and being a part of the elite social scene. AOC is the type of candidate (with supposed working class background) that can easily be bought, and her antics of late are becoming very questionable to that end.

AOC is not capable of sitting down in front of a real journalist and asked real questions; every interview has been jaw-dropping with valley girl type responses. She’s now being lauded over the last few days for another of her scripted and performative social media and made for TV antics; while pretending to care about money in politics. Her “Green New Deal”, is the stolen platform of the Green Party and Bernie Sanders; with added hyperbole and true to her brand of valley girl blabbering…and who will ever forget, ‘her farting cows’.

The same zombie cult following that Booker enjoyed, was the very same pathetic following we now see with AOC. Yet, Booker was always a Wall Street shill; while AOC paints herself as the woman of the people, anti-rich, fighter for the poor. However, her many utterances and actions have been simply performative with no substance, thought or real plan. Booker was once lauded as Superman for his many antics, while AOC is lauded as the next Barack Obama, as she runs through the halls of the Senate with cameras in tow; mocking the whereabouts of Mitch McConnell.

AOC is showing us who she really is, and her jubilation, absolute ignorance, bliss and tone deafness of the below twitter exchange between she and Teigen is astonishing. However, no one should really be surprised after she chose to do a Vanity Fair cover all fashionably dressed in a $3000 suite, and $600 shoes.

So, seeing this weekends lovefest between AOC & Chrissy Teigen came to quite a surprise…it was an even bigger surprise that most of her cult followers do not see the problem and/or hypocrisy.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are known Resistance operatives, who fought with impunity for Hillary Clinton and against all things Progressive that AOC claims to be for. To see the likes of Teigen, and Debra Messing who spent the last four or five years trashing Nina Turner, Susan Sarandon, and Bernie Sanders; to all now be fawning and professing their love for AOC is beyond laughable and insulting.

FYI: Notice the similar tweet of Debra Messing and that of Chrissy Teigen, these people all have an orchestrated agenda and messaging.

Perhaps AOC would do well to follow the sage advice from the below twitterer, and more importantly her shallow fans; would do better to also remember that politicians are not celebrities and/or deities…and thus should not be treated as such.

AOC was supposedly elected to lead and bring about change for the less fortunate. Her rise to political office was done so from a platform of fighting against the elites. I can’t think of a better way AOC to show off her ‘Socialist’ creds than to live tweet while watching the Grammy’s (a show that gives platitudes to the uber rich), with a group of millionaires in their posh million dollar surroundings.
