Yes, OWN was failing because the same liberal white women who are jumping on board for a Oprah presidency now, boycotted her new network because she endorsed Obama over Hillary…her network had just started and it was tanking, the only show they found that had any ratings worth mentioning was a then little known show called Sweetie Pies, once Oprah saw this, she fired her CEO and publicly said that she was changing her platform to go after black audiences…everyone knows that Oprah ALWAYS catered to rich white suburban housewives before then. She also said that she would not be building a black girls school in Chicago b/c those poor black kids didn’t want anything but Ipods and tennis shoes, a complete insult…yet a few years later her S. African school was plagued with young girls being raped and stories of her knowing and not doing anything until it became national news…I have no love for Oprah, before there was OWN; she elevated every white person she could over black people. Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray and a plethora of others…
